Dear Fabulous Friends, 

Can we talk? 

When I admire your fierceness, love, compassion, intelligence, talent, resilience, sense of style, or your lipstick, could you please just accept the compliment?  Open your heart, and with open hands, receive what I offer.  Your acceptance completes the cycle.  Don’t let my offering dangle, unwanted, until it fizzles away.  That doesn’t benefit anyone.  You’re damn fabulous, and it’s time to own it.  

When you complete the cycle, the energy continues on.  As we give, we receive.  As we receive, we give.  Yes, I’m referring to the energy of love, not the physical things we hand each other.  

There’s more.  Your God-given gifts are meant to be accepted, fully embraced, nurtured and shared.  That’s ultimately the point, isn’t it?  The gifts given you are the gifts you’re meant to use.  Hiding them is a major dis to the Big Guy.  Don’t want to be vain?  Cool, your friends don’t want that either.  Humility comes not from hiding your gifts but from acknowledging you are merely the recipient of those gifts.  We are meant to shine… in our simple daily interactions.  You don’t think this ass-backward world is going to fix itself, do you? 

Please start noticing and accepting your gifts and living as the incredible person you are.
