Sweet Snack Bites
My body likes variety. I stick to the plant paradox diet strictly, so variety is not as easy as it used to be. Anyway, as I was looking for something new-to-me, I created these “snack bites” - they’re like a granola bar without the granola. They’re tasty and sweet, and yummy in small bites.
Organic dried figs - 1 cup, measured whole, before blending
Organic toasted, unsalted hazelnuts - 1 cup, measured whole, before blending
Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon (or not)
Honey - 1 Tablespoon, plus maybe 1 teaspoon
I blended all in my little food processor, then formed little 1-inch log-shapes. If you need more “sticky” to keep them together, add more honey. Keep refrigerated.
