Send YourSelf Love

Feeling lousy?  Send yourself Love.  It totally works.  In quiet, focus on the body part or emotion in pain… feel warmth flow from your heart to the pain and notice the energy melt the agony.  

I’m not making light of pain, and I’m not suggesting relief will necessarily be instantaneous (although it might be).  I am suggesting it’s helpful.  Pain is your body’s indicator light… something is off and needs correction.  Sometimes that stillness and reconnection with yourself is an instant cure.  Sometimes that stillness offers awareness of the disconnect so you can see the fix.  What is your Truth?  You may need healthier food, more activity, time with friends, focus on your passions, rest, quiet, spirituality… the core of each is Love for yourSelf. 

Pain is a disconnect.  Something went awry.  Ignoring it doesn’t work.  Treating symptoms doesn’t remedy the cause.  Numbing it with pills, shopping or media distractions doesn’t work.  The cure is coming back to a place of wholeness.  

Don’t be afraid of the indicator light; it saves your engine.  If you sit with the pain and a fresh perspective to discover your needs, you’ll be able to choose an effective next step toward repair, wholeness and healing.
