Broccoli, Steamed and Yummy

Broccoli - organic, washed, cut into florets and chunks (when cutting, throw away the stem pieces that are too tough for your knife.)  Sprinkle with salt. 

Heat vegetable broth in the bottom inch of your pan on the stovetop.

Add broccoli and cook on medium until tender (poke it with a fork).  

When tender, top wth pesto, made separately (basil, olive oil, garlic, pecorino-romano cheese) and pecorino-romano shavings.  

Yummy!
